When putting together your own home theater there are many options to choose from. There are essential components that are important if you want to recreate that same ambiance of a real cinema. They are, stadium Seating, projector and screen, 7.1 surround sound, receiver, sound proofing, wall color and curtains, lighting such as wall sconces, dimmer switches and floor illumination such as LED rope lighting. Then there are wall decorations such as abstract art to items for a specific themes or even movie posters. Then of course you need a snake bar with a popcorn machine and other snacks. In my opinion a home theater is not a true home theater without a projector and screen as well as the items listed above. Even if you don’t have the space to seat twenty people, a place in the basement would do just fine with a scaled down version of a home theater design that you have in mind.
